Summer 2014 Swimming Options:

1) Jenks Aquatic Center (Click here for directions)
Located at 'B' Street & Birch St in Jenks, OK. (western edge of the Jenks HS campus). Contact: Coach George Villarreal at george.villarreal@jenksps.org
COACHED MASTERS WORKOUTS:
MWF mornings: 6 to 7:30 am
MTWThF afternoon: 11:30 am to 1 pm
MTWThF evenings: 6 to 7:30 pm
Saturdays: 8 to 10 am
An annual USMS membership is required to participate in the masters workouts. Register at www.usms.org/reg, $42/yr. Swimmers must also sign up through Jenks Community Ed. Cost is currently $30/ month to swim.
LAP SWIM:
MWF mornings 5 to 6 am. RISE & SHINE lap swim
contact Ben Thorman, BenT@flintco.com. This is not a masters workout, no coach on deck, swimmers do their own thing. A USMS membership is NOT required for the Rise & Shine swim. Sign up through Jenks Community Ed (website above). Cost is $20/ month.
2) Claremore Rec Center
595 Veteran’s Pkwy, Claremore, OK 74017, phone(918) 341-4516
Coached morning and evening workouts. USMS membership is not required. Contact Coach Charlie Haverstick at 918-770-6204 or cfhaverstick@yahoo.com for more information, schedule, cost, etc.
3) ORAL ROBERTS UNIVERSITY
Members of Tulsa Area Triathletes (TAT) have the benefit of swimming Tuesday & Thursday nights, 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the indoor pool in ORU's Kenneth H. Cooper Aerobics Center. See the TAT website for more information, http://tatok.com/swim. OR email: membership@tatok.com
4) McClure Park Pool
Outdoor 50 m pool, 7440 E. 7th Street.
Available June 4 - Aug 8, Tue-Wed-Thu, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Purchase passes at Hicks Community Center,
3443 South Mingo
Prices are $20 for 10 visits or $55 for unlimited (10 weeks/30 visits)
Contact the Tulsa Parks Department next spring for availability of evening adult lap swimming.
5) Life Time Fitness (Bixby)
Life Time Fitness Center is located in Bixby. To be a part of this program everyone must be a member of lifetime.
