Jenks Pool Announcements

Dear Masters Swimmers, I wanted to post a few announcements that will help you plan the next several weeks. First: Practice on Saturday, 16th November WILL go on as planned, starting at 8am. However, it will be a SHORTER practice, with everyone out of the pool at 8:55am (warm-up for the meet starts at 9:00am). Additionally, plan to use the UPPER Locker Rooms (by the Instructional Pool) since the Competition Pool lockers will be full of kids for the meet. Swimming lessons start for children at 9:15 in the Instructional Pool, so there may be a few younger swimmers and parents in those locker rooms from about 9-9:30. Second: Rark and Rec meets are over for the Fall, so Tuesday evening practices will go on as usual. Third: High School meet is scheduled for November 21st, so that evening practice is cancelled. Fourth: I have a working calendar for events in the Aquatic Center. Please go to www.jenksps.org. At the site, look under the "District" banner on the right, then a drop-down menu will open with a heading for the Jenks Trojan Aquatic Center. There, you will find a calendar that should be configured to run from Monday-Saturday weekly. Just choose the "week" option on the calendar to see what is scheduled that week. Fourth (a): I am working on a Thanksgiving schedule with Lloyd Landreth and Denise Smart.
