Good evening Tulsa Masters Swimmers!

Just a quick update for you all this evening.

First of all, WELCOME to all the new swimmers who've joined Tulsa Masters Swim Club in the past few months. Our membership now totals 158 swimmers! Very impressive. Please let me know if you have any questions at all regarding masters swimming. We'd love to have you participate in our workouts, and in our events. I really believe Tulsa Masters has something to offer every level of swimmer. Our website, http://tulsamsc.blogspot.com, is frequently updated with information regarding places to swim, swim events, etc. You'll also get emails from me about from time to time updating you on the latest swimming news. You can also refer to the Oklahoma Masters Swimming website, www.okswim.org, for information regarding masters swimming in the state of Oklahoma.

As for places to swim, please note there are 3 locations in the Tulsa area that offer coached workouts. Charlie Haverstick at the Claremore Rec Center, Donovan Ewing at Bixby High School, and George Villarreal at Jenks Trojan Aquatic Center. Their contact information can be found on the TMSC website. Let me know if you have a standing swim group at another pool. We'd be glad to post it on the blog so new swimmers know they have choices when trying to find a place to swim.

Let me know if you are interested in going. We usually try to organize carpools to the out of town meets.

November 5:
Lighthouse Masters Meet, Lighthouse Fitness Center, Oklahoma City Kathy Keffer-Sharpe is the meet director. I haven't seen the meet entry info yet, but will pass it on when I get it. Kathy's email address is filtercam1@gmail.com. Again, we will try to carpool to this meet.

Social events:
Breakfast every Saturday after workout!!
A few of us usually go to eat after the Saturday morning workout at Jenks. Anyone is welcome to join us! Depends on how many are going as to where we go. The workout is over at 10 am, so we are on our way shortly after that.

Christmas Party, December 17th! SAVE THE DATE!!
Don and Nancy Nelson will host the TMSC Christmas Party this year. It is always a fun, dry land activity! Spouses and significant others are welcome. Details at a later date.
